I was just browsing the cruiser rankings and it appears the higher ranked fighters have had a few controversial, close or shady decisions go their way against the others in the top 10, is it just where there based ie Germany Huck vs Lebedev, afolabi 1,2 ,Arslan Wlodcarczick vs palacios 1,2 ,Cunningham Hernandez vs ross, Cunningham 1 Is it just a Germany thing? Its just it seem an off top 10 if you look at it 1. Marco Huck 2. Yoan Pablo Hernandez 3. Kryzstof Wlodarczyk 4. Ola Afolabi 5. Denis Lebedev 6. Antonio Tarver 7. Troy Ross 8. Lateef Kayode 9. Francisco Palacios 10. Firat Arslan
I thought Yoan won the Ross fight, and got gifted that technical decision as Cunningham was coming on.
i meant to put number 1, very talented but shows when hes un comfortable and cunningham recovers well
Lebedev and Arslan clearly won the fight vs Huck Wlod Palacios I was close, but I rather though Palacios won, 2nd fight clear Wlod win(though still wasn't a good fight) Ross got robbed vs Hernandez tbh
I thought Ross did enough to win that fight too, the ref helped YPH out big time too. Haven't seen all the others but that one was a bad decision I do remember
Robbery is perhaps the most over-used & incorrectly used word/term on ESB Every close fight gets called a robbery one way or the other & none of the fights mentioned in the OP was a robbery. Chisora-Helenius & Rios-Abril (where one guy wins 10+rounds & loses the decision) are genuine robberies.
In Germany they give any close round whatsoever to the home fighter and unfortuantley it's the only country where cruiserweights sell tickets
Correct chisora-helenius rios-abril were robberies But for me Ross-Hernandez was robbery like Andrade was it against bute where ref was clearly cheating More refs help home fighters in Germany than any other Stalling, breaks, unfair point deductions and long counts are normal are corrupt
