Is he really a name? Maybe in Australia but then so is Huck in Germany or Woldarczyk in Poland. Oh wait, Green recently gained some international exposure. By taking part in the worst fight of the year, great.

If he beats Troy Ross at 200 then he will become real contender. As it stands, no way he is a legitimate champion.Having said that he still would be a good, intresting addition to the tournament

    Maybe in Australia.

He will be B level as soon as he steps up in class.

That's just ******ed. What you're proposing there is essentially a tournament prior to the actual super 6 tournament to determine who gets to participate. Do you know how often these guys fight a year? I think you need to consider how difficult it is to get fighters at this level to agree to a) who they're going to fight and b) the terms of the fight. What you're proposing there could take years to complete and that's before the actual tournament even begins, and then if it's in the format of the SMW S6 then the tournament itself takes another couple of years. Some of you guys need to get back to reality.

    Super Six "Crusierweights"

    Steve Cunningham
    Marco Huck
    Danny Green
    Dennis Lebedev
    Yoan Hernandez
And either Krysztof Woldarczyk or BJ Flores

I pick Cunnigham. Green is a can basher and Huck got smashed by Cunningham already, Woldarczyk got a gift and was promptly beat down by Cunningham a second time.

green wont be in there! hes scared ! hernandez has the same trainer like huck so he wont be in there! troy ross deserves it!
and guilermo jones defends his title if he wins he will be in ther most likely too!

Huck, cunningham , Krysztof Woldarczyk, lebedev, troy ross, guillermo jones! bj flores could move in if somebody doesnt want to fight!

This is from the Scene earlier today:

"On Saturday night in Germany, WBO cruiserweight champ Marco Huck had it easier than expected with American boxer Matt Godfrey in the headliner of Sauerland´s show at the Messhall. Godrey was down in the second and floored twice in the fifth before it was stopped at 2.18.

Wilfried Sauerland says the rumored Super Six cruiserweight tournament will be moving forward. The tournament will be based on Showtime's Super Six super middleweight tournament, which Sauerland Event played a big role in putting together.

Huck´s next fight will be the opening fight of the cruiserweight Super Six and will take place December 4 or December 18 but against who isn't clear yet. The other participants in the tournament appear to be IBF ruler Steve Cunningham, WBC champ Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (who of course must beat Jason Robinson on September 25), Russian Denis Lebedev and perhaps Yoan Pablo Hernandez. A sixth name will be announced and Sauerland hinted at a fourth champion joining the tournament."

    It says nothing of Green.

Cunningham is definitely in and has expressed that he is excited and ready to go. I'll ask if he knows anything about the sixth participant's identity at this point.

I spoke to Danny yesterday and he said he hadn't been contacted about the tournament but would be interested if they asked him.
