I'm going to guess that at least one of these cruiserweights will become a significant player in the heavyweight division; Usyk, Kudryashov, Gassiev. :think Usyk seems to be the best boxer, Kudryashov seems to be the most powerful, Gassiev is young and appears to be good all the way around but not particularly great at anything in particular. I think that at least one of them will dispel the myth that great size = "great".

I definitely think that Usyk could have an impact in a post-Klitschko heavyweight division.

Usyk, Kudryashov and Chakhkiev are my top 3 picks assuming they decide to move up. Rest of the elite hold their own as well.

I say none of them make it big at Heavy.

Size doesn't automatically= great. But size + skill, hard work/good coaching is hard to beat. I think it's very likely that the post Klitschko era will be more than likely dominated by a 6'5+ HW, or HW's. CW has some very good fighters though, but the 3 I mentioned in my previous post in particular probably have the best shot due to their size, skill and power. Huck deserves a mention as well.

Usyk will be HW Champ. Drozd should have moved up ages ago...would probably have beaten Wlad. I feel beterbiev will move up to hw once he gets sparked at lhw and cw.

Looks like Benajaru is gonna take his small stature S to CW to gain some momentum.

Yeah, he's currently fought at HW, but can't seem to get the torque on his shots vs the big HWs.

Something he might define down at CW and bring back to HW when he's more well rounded.:think

How does no one mention the guy who arguably beat the #2 HW in the world?

Hukic is pretty good, but I rate Usyk and Kudryashov higher as him. He also arguably lost to Lebedev.

Kudryashov looks to easy to hit. so not him.

    Maybe Usyk.

Based on what? Looking good vs limited opposition.

    Povetkin >>>>>> Usyk's and Kudryashov's resume combined

Also lets not forget Huck has wins over Afolabi, Arslan, and Victor Emelio Ramirez

Huck seems like he could do it as far as going to heavyweight but doesn't want to do it for some reason.:huh

Sort of like he wants a title fight without really campaigning in the division.

A history of cruiserweight sized boxers who became heavyweight champions: Rocky Marciano, Jack Dempsey, Joe Frazier, Joe Louis, Floyd Patterson, Evander Holyfield and the list could go on.

Add Pre-exile Mr. Ali to that list.

People sell today's cruiserweights far too short considering how many of their favorite cruiserweight-sized fighters they favor over modern heavyweights.
