Excellent list. I'd also suggest Chavez, M. Spinks, Mike McCallum.......

I believe he knocked out Turi Pineda with a left hook.

He did, although I always felt Lopez was more noted for his right hand, he could still produce with his left. Man, thinking of that fight with Pineda brings back memories. That bout of theirs is seared into my brain since 1972. And Pineda had one helluva left hook too.

I was a little kid, 7 or 8, and I remember it so vividly. I'd seen Pineda fight and I was afraid for Little Red. I couldn't sleep and I hid in the hallway, peeking around the corner until they gave the fight result on the 10 o'clock new. Hearing that Lopez won took the weight of the world off of me.

I actually thought Pineda was going to win. I had been following his trajectory and Danny's up to that time. But what a war! Pineda hurt in the first from a right-left, then he comes roaring back to rock Lopez from pillar to post in the 2nd, then they rock each other in the 3rd before Danny lowered the boom in the 4th. I was on pins and needles throughout. Good times.

#1 Cuevas, broke bones with his hook , and not just with 1 opponent.
    # 2 Frazier, had radar in his left hook, could land it in close, long distance, or any angle.
#3 Arguello, noted for his straight right hand, but his left hook was just as lethal.
#4 Duran, see the Arguello comment.
#5, Damn near every great Mexican fighter from that time period, especially the hook to the body. They seemed to be born with a left hook.
    #6 Tyson, lethal and quick.
#7 R.Leonard, again a very underrated puncher, most noted for his speed and combo punching, but his hook could be lethal, has Dave Green woke up yet?
#8 D.Curry, also lethal with the hook, has Milt Mccory woke up yet?
    # 9 E.Holyfield at light heavy/ cruiser, his hooks were beautiful . Technique and power.
#10 M.Hagler his left hooks turned into right hooks so easily if you blinked you missed it, possibly the best switch hitter ever.

Any top ten left hook list is no list without Cyclone Hart.
