Um first off 18oz gloves do exist... I use them to spar everytime. Also as for editing peoples post you can ask him yourself he had made a spelling error. I have no problems with bazooka anymore as we talked over messages and hes actually a cool guy.

BUT! You on the other hand can **** off. LMAO 10 years in the sport and never heard of 18oz gloves tsk tsk tsk.. They go up to like 23 oz I believe.

BTW bazooka I'm fighting again this saturday, might be against the same guy =X I've actually been going to the gym though lol; I went running twice also. This one I'm definitely getting on film since I'm bringing my own camera.

Dont put too much focus into recording it, if you have someone to do it let them take that responsiblilty your job is to win the fight so focus on that, Stay a bit more relaxed this time, let you hands go, DO NOT WAIT once that bell rings you have six mins to win the fight, as I tell my kid you can win the fight in the first round and lose it in the last so as soon as that bell gongs get to work.

My kid was supposed to fight on Sunday but hurt his hand in sparring a couple weeks back its gotten better but right now we are trying to come down to 140 which right now we are at 145 and we are looking to do a home comming in Santa Ana in October!! :good

Good luck to you, and do not worry about the decision as I tell anybody who has fought if it goes to the cards anything can happen but as long as you went out there and fought and gave your very best your a winner, the only way you lose in this game is if you go out there and not fight, such as Zelenoff when he fought Hartley but as long as you know in your heart you gave all you had that day, your still a winner.

it was hard on him, but it was a good thing he learned to take his road work and this sport a bit more serious and when we got back into the gym together he was a differnt fighter he was hungrier.

well we all lose in the amateurs. you should take him to 30-50 fights. then he's ready for the pro game. your kid is insanely talented, he made that cruiser look bad.

He has sparred with pros and guys who are about to turn pro in the next year or two and he has usally made them work, There was a pro he had been working with a couple months back who was a sparring partner for Margarito for his fight with Cotto, the guys name was Octovio Navarez and my kid boxed his ears off.

Records don't mean anything in the amateurs. The sooner a boxer gets over that the faster they will progress. What's more important if one is truly aiming to become a professional is competing in major tournaments and facing the best possible opposition.

A resume full of tough losses against the highest level amateurs out there holds a lot more water than an 'impressive' record built up against a lot of novices at local shows.

I have a lot of losses on my record, but they are all against nationally and internationally ranked opponents. And most of those bout were very competitive, some, I only lost by a point or two. Those bouts, even though they were tough, did a lot more for me as a fighter than any easy win against someone with the same or less experience as myself.

Charlie cant fight to save his life he quit against Kid Thunder Hartley the man is a joke, So even if there were a fight set up a fight wouldnt take place not when the bell rang he would simply quit again.

So to answer your question, No its a waste of time with Charlie. My Kid can fight no doubt, I have tought him what he knows so far, but there will be a time in which I have to step aside so he can move to the next level.

    AMY,

I agree with your post 100% a record full of losses in the amateurs is meaningless acutally the amateurs are soley to prepair you for the pros, Honestly IMO its basicly hard sparring.

    Yo Bazooka.

Just caught this man, nice solid skills on your kid there, liked how he wheeled around and let the big guy punch himself out without taking much damage, although (as I'm sure you wrapped his knuckles about) - he's a little casual in that corner, got hit with a couple of shots.

Nice tight skills, catching the jab, good movement, what's his cardio like? I heard you telling him to pump out the jab, would have suited his footwork which was looking real good.

Guy would absolutely clean up those Arkansas boys if you want him to go pro after his am's are finished.
