well it was called that for a while. IMO Cruiser and Super Middlweight should just go away all together, Light Heavyweight should be 161-200lbs

Actually that's a worse name, IMO.

It used to be called that back in the 80's.

That's not a bad idea, but semantics on its own will not make the division more appealing. Cruiserweight will probably not become appealing to the mainstream fan in the immediate future (rightly or wrongly) due to the majority of talent being based out of Europe

It doesnt make sense that Light-Heavyweight is below Crusierweight. Shouldnt Light Heavy be directly under Heavy

It was. Up until the "Cruiserweight" division was created. Essentially fighters have got bigger. Thats the reason why the divisions have had to adjust. Notably cruiserweight which saw its limit go from 190lbs to 200lbs.

Why not? Most middleweights and super middlweights walk around naturally at or over 175lbs anyways. Also, history has shown guys in that weight range can compete, just look at Billie Conn, he was only like 168lbs and had that fight been 12 rounds he'd of beat Joe Louis.

Theres no point in comparing the builds of fighters from the early 30's and 40's. There was a time when the "Galveston Giant" who's nickname was coined by his size which back then was seen as big went by a whopping 6ft 1 and 185lbs in his prime. As you can see by todays standards his build is very very average. We have welterweights that are that tall now. Additionally theres not going to be any boxing division seperated by 40lbs. That completely defeats the idea of boxing divisions.
