This is among the most rubbish cards I can ever remember anyone bothering to broadcast.

The b-side in the main event is probably the livest underdog on the whole thing, and he last beat an opponent with a positive record a dozen years ago, taking an MD over Cosme Rivera. Meanwhile the A-side is 2 full decades his junior and boasts a 13-0 (10) record. If there was a betting line Euri would be like 15/1 least.

Rhode Island based Cape Verdean southpaw Vladine Biosse, once a prospect and now a gatekeeper, is the one fighter most have probably heard of ...and he's facing an 0-1 dude. :buitre:

Oh well, live Sunday baaaxin'. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

IB funfact: Euri González was the second undefeated opponent faced by young Canelo Álvarez; the first was Gabriel Martínez.

González and Martínez both entered their Canelo bouts, for regional welterweight belts, with identical records of 17-0-1. Both were also stopped by Canelo in eleven rounds.

Well, found the stream... apparently C&R only felt like putting it up on their Facebook page today, and not their YouTube channel.

Er, correction - they livestreamed an empty ring between bouts, for five minutes, an hour ago, and..nothing since. Bien hecho, Cruz y Rodríguez.

    Round 1

Díaz has like a foot on González, insane height differential obvious straight away. There's a very long delay for some reason in ringing the first bell, well after the intros, as both fighters pace awkwardly in place in their corners. Finally, we ding to start and they come together, a bit woodenly, getting their sea legs (ring legs?). Díaz shurikens out some light jabs, on a downward slope into the head of González, who counters with jabs reaching upward and then shoves both forearms into the chest of Díaz to knock him back a step and buy himself a little room to escape. Lots of rapid ducking and bending to either side by the 42 year old, wonder how much gas his tank will hold for burning off that much with inefficiently defensive movement so early...although he does manage to survive the 1st, so there is that.

    10-9 Díaz

    Round 2

Díaz is forcing Gonzo into the corner with jabs between his eyes, and then hooking below the guard. Jabbing his way free, Gonzo tries some neutralizing right hands shooting into the Díaz jab before diving way down below his waist, looking for a clinch. Díaz shrugs him off, using raw strength to muscle him into the ropes and landing some heavy body shots and clubbing down on the head when Gonzo tucks his chin, lowers his elbows and puts his earmuffs on. Whipping underhanded rights on the belt line from Díaz and Gonzo is hurt and flailing against the ropes. Díaz grunting "oof!" as he loads up on single power shots, with Gonzo dropping a level and shoulder-tackling Díaz into the ropes to stall for time. A bit of grappling on the inside, Gonzo attempting to control Díaz's wrists by pulling down on them - but he miscalculates his positioning and Díaz quickly draws back his left once freed and BLASTS him onto the canvas with a sudden hook. Gonzo is saved by the bell.

    10-8 Díaz

    González wants no mas.

TKO2! / RTD2! (not sure what they're officially ruling it)

edit: nope, just rewound, and though he did make a sort of half-ass failed attempt to rise, it was on the ref's count of nine and González just barely missed ten, could probably have beaten that count and made it to a minute stool break if he really wanted. KO2. Very low-energy, anticlimactic finish, with Díaz returning to his own corner as though he was expecting to answer the bell again. Finally the ring fills with spectators, including a bunch of...children? All of those Díaz's? Dude never heard of condoms?? He's only 22!

Sanderson improves to 14-0 (11). He looks...alright, from the six minutes of action we saw. I can't say he will make a splash on the global scene, but there is the possibility of a nice little round robin for domestic dominance between himself, Gilbert Lenín Castillo Rivera, Felix Manuel "Mangú" Valera Alvarez, and Brayan Alfredo "El Blackie" Pérez Castillo (the latter pair possibly heading toward a rubber match soon to settle their business). The last man standing after all that might just be in fringe contention.

Found it...the first match on that live feed (link above) is actually Vladine Biosse, forcing a RTD1 on some local jabroni after basically three straight minutes of nonstop bombardment with left uppercuts. Then in between that and the main event...whole bunch of crap I'm not sifting through and watching, it's bedtime.

Damn, with that Biosse snapped an eight year winless slump, 0-6-2.

(granted early in that he ran a death gauntlet of J'Leon Love, Callum Smith, Andre Dirrell, and Sergey Derevyanchenko)
