If I was Ward and I honestly believed I had won that fight yet most people, people whose opinions are respected, think I had lost, I would want a rematch and I would not care how poor the money would be it wouldnt be about the money. What ever we think about it the fact is that on paper Ward beat Kovalev, If Ward is happy with that, everything else he has achieved in the sport, which is alot and is happy with his bank balance then maybe its time for him to retire. No big loss to the sport, he is far from an exciting character that anybody would miss.

Ducking a rematch against an agrieved opponant that was contracted is a dikk move though.

ive got an idea. let it be as far away from america as possible. in the summer, kovalev gets the 60/40 split. and he gets 3 russian judges and a russian ref. if ward wins then, he gets props. but he wont get any credit for a hometown robbery. well he will get credit from the supremacists but thats worth nothing.
