Oleksandr Usyk vs Michael Hunter (April 8, 2017) (12 Rounds for the WBO World Cruiserweight Title)

    _Round 1: 10-9 Usyk (close)
    _Round 2: 10-9 Hunter
    _Round 3: 10-9 Hunter (big)
    _Round 4: 10-9 Hunter (closer)
_Round 5: 10-9 Usyk (big round for the chap, landed numerous big shots)
_Round 6: 10-9 Usyk (another good round for the champ, Bernard Hopkins is just the worst expert commentator him and Leonard)
    _Round 7: 10-9 Usyk
_Round 8: 10-9 Usyk (Usyk beat Hunter up that round)
_Round 9: 10-9 Usyk (beat up Hunter's body that round, those hard shots one after another visibly took their toll imo)
Round 10: 10-9 Usyk (Hunter had to have pissed blood for a couple days after that body attack of these last 2 rounds)
    Round 11: 10-9 Usyk
    Round 12: 10- 7 Usyk

    My Score: (117-109 Usyk)

Official Scores: (117-110 x 3 Usyk) Hunter won rounds 2 & 3 clearly, rounds 1 & 4 are swing rounds I split between them, 116-111 is the best score you can give Hunter imo though 118-109 isn't too off either.

Winner: By Unanimous Decision to retain the WBO World Cruiserweight Championship of the World, Oleksandr Usyk!

Like his last opponent, Hunter gave the champion problems early but after that 50/50 4th round I gave to Hunter he was never the same after & Usyk just steamrolled Mike from that point on. Still a great fight despite the wide scorecards.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Marco Huck (September 9,2017) (12 Rounds for the WBO World Cruiserweight Title & 1st Round of the CW WBSS)

_Round 1: 10-9 Usyk (champ working the body off the bat)
_Round 2: 10-9 Usyk (already beating Huck up, who is already trying to get dirty trying to use his head like a ram)
    _Round 3: 10-9 Usyk
    _Round 4: 10-9 Usyk
    _Round 5: 10-9 Usyk
    _Round 6: 10-9 Usyk
_Round 7: 10-9 Usyk (Huck tired, beaten up and being dominated since round 5)
    _Round 8: 10-8 Usyk
    _Round 9: 10-9 Usyk
    Round 10: TKO

    My Score: (90-80 Usyk ATOS)

As a pro, Usyk has been down unofficially twice to this point. Both times feet getting tangled in the 12th vs Glowacki and now in the 8th here against Huck. Both times Robert ****ing Byrd was the ref, and both times the Glowacki & Huck threw hard punches to usyk's head while he was down. At least this time dumbass Byrd took a point for the serious infraction, he didn't even bother warning Glowacki who threw 3-4 hard punches with Usyk down, the night Oleksandr won the WBO title. This was a schooling, plain and simple.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Mairis Briedis (January 27, 2018) (12 Rounds to Unify the WBO & WBC Cruiserweight Championships & Final 4 of the CW WBSS)

_Round 1: 10-9 Usyk (close, I know most gave this round to Mairis but I just liked Usyk's work better)
_Round 2: 10-9 Briedis (close, pretty close to a replay of the 1st but Briedis upping his workrate nicks the frame this time)
_Round 3: 10-9 Usyk (keeps his head off the center line, commits to the body, & starts noticeably throwing with power with both hands)
_Round 4: 10-9 Briedis (cleaner heavier counter punching, and getting those uppercuts going)
_Round 5: 10-9 Usyk (good clear round from Usyk, but most rounds so far it's really what you like both champs trading frames BnF)
_Round 6: 10-9 Usyk (closer than the 5th but Usyk still outworks Briedis)
_Round 7: 10-9 Usyk (anybodies round until a last 25 second flurry from Usyk looked to have stunned the WBC champ)
_Round 8: 10-9 Usyk (these rounds are so good, Briedis is in all of them he's just being outworked for me)
_Round 9: 10-9 Brieids (landed hard eyecatching shots in another give and take frame)
Round 10: 10-9 Usyk (this time the WBO champ landed the head snapping eye catching shots in a clear round for him imo)
Round 11: 10-9 Usyk (just nicked it imo, Usyk is still just doing more but what a great fight!)
Round 12: 10-9 Briedis (definition of a swing round, almost all Usyk then Briedis lands several cracking right hands that appeared to stagger Usyk and had him clenching for the first time in the fight)

My Score: (116-112 Usyk) 117-111 to 115-113 Usyk would be fine as well, don't see the draw though.

    Official Scores: (115-113 x 2 Usyk) (114-114 Even)
Winner: By Majority Decision to Unify the WBO & WBC World Cruiserweight Championship, and advance to the finals of the CW WBSS for the Muhammad Ali Trophy, Oleksandr Usyk!

In the 3rd round replay for the clash of heads slow motion almost makes it look like Briedis lead with his head rather than it being accidental. Great fight here, maybe the toughest of Usyk's career but no doubt at least in my mind he won this comfortably. These two warriors gave it their all until the final bell, and though I have it rather wide Mairis Briedis turned in a fantastic performance on the night! Oh and I love that play by play guy, it was kinda nice only having one man calling the action, and he did a fantastic job for this great fight!

The tags around the T & Technical are because that was a knockout and should have been awarded as such. High drama fight made it exciting, Bellew really did well for the first 3 rounds, of course Usyk always starts slow drop the first couple few rounds to Mchunu, Hunter, Briedis so it should be no surprise here. However the Sky Sports boys with exception of Paulie really went overboard on the praise lol. No idea what the judge who had it 5-2 Bellew was watching, and I'm not one of the Bellew haters I actually quite like Tony, he's all heart.
