Agreed, in a way it was suspense as much as action. Two big men that could ko each other at anytime is what had me glued !

Tanaka-Acosta, Valdez-Servania, Higa-Navarette, Melindo-Budler almost made my list, I might add a few later, but Abduquaxarov vs Manyuchi,
Tete vs Gonya, Beltran vs Macielo all a little too damn short, I mean I even felt weird about putting Molina-Redkach so high, and at least that made it to 4.

I didn't like Hurd-Harrison all that much, I am going to add Evna-Rosa, that one slipped my mind, and as you noticed, I did add Ramirez-Hart, it came this close to making my Top 15, its one of the few I fretted over leaving off the list.

That's one of the handful of matches I actually missed this past year, I'll definitely check it out.

Hurd-Harrison was fought at a decent clip; I wouldn't call it great, but I thought it was a lot of fun. Mostly I was just naming fights that were worth watching, either for action, performance or ending. Good year for fights, really.

It was okay, maybe I'm just still bitter since I picked Harrison to win, and he did for the first 7 rounds, but then Harrison did what he does.

An absurd agenda driven list from an uneducated fanboy’s perspective.

Spence’s coming out party against Kell Brook was the best and most significant fight of 2017. Ward-Kovalev II second, and Loma-Rigo third. All were historic, and will only gain in significance as time goes on.

Says one of the most narcissistic buffoons that's completely incapable of introspection on the forum, who completely misses the irony of his uneducated fanboy crack, considering the matches he picked.

    That's a great list.

I think you forgot Breazeale vs the Black Pole. And I would put May-Mac higher. It was an event fight, but what an event! With Floyd being washed-up I was even into the fight, LOL.

Thanks man, and no I got Breazeale and Izu, its number 8. And I actually contemplated putting May-Mac in there, I did quite enjoy it, but I was so against it on principle I couldn't bring myself to include it.

    My favourites from those listed:

    Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko
    Gennady Golovkin vs. Saúl Álvarez
    Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn

I am basing it also on how big the fight is, and the tension.

There were a lot of great fights in 2017, and many more already lined up for the first 3-4 months of 2018. The world boxing super series is going to catch fire.

Well CST80 there is one I’ve not seen yet and it made Steve Bunces list as one of the fights of the year,a middleweight bout between Khytrov v Aleem, like I said I’ve not seen it but it’s meant to be amazing with 200 punches thrown in one round.

May v Mac got in on Bunces list as an event which is one way of putting I guess.
