Good list My two favorites are Bivol defeating Canelo and sending the forum into various meltdowns and Usyk bringing out Joshua’s true colors in their rematch Practically was smiling the whole night. The way Usyk bounces back to completely dominate round 10 is incredible. Takes a special fighter to do this… This content is protected
No trying involved, I genuinely enjoyed all of them. I know you've lost a bit of passion or the sport in recent years, as have I, but I still watch almost every match, and frequently I like what I see. I've never been one to get addicted to the builds of mega fights. I'm perfectly happy watching quality midcarder scraps. Frequently, that's where many FOTY's are hiding.
Maybe you forgot Chris Billam-Smith's two fights this year against Isaac Chamberlain & Armend Xhoxhaj. Both were good entertaining fights.
I haven't seen most of those but surprised to see some of them above Mauricio Lara vs Emilio Sanchez. That's one that sticks out to me.
Thanks goes to @pincai for bringing this all out slobberknocker to my attention. When I update, Sam Gilley vs. Drew Brown will probably crack my top 20. This content is protected
Holy ****ing ****! Thanks @HamburgBuam for bringing this one to my attention. This is glorious! It might crack my Top 5. It's an all out war from the opening bell, with both men trading multiple knockdowns, and they even go sailing through the ropes and out of the ring twice. Great list. Fighters from the tiny majestic isle of Great Britain with its minuscule population unsurprisingly heavily overrepresented.
Dubois vs Larena might warrant inclusion in an expanded list. Lindolfo Delgado vs Omar Aguilar was probably the best undercard fight of the year, even if it was only eight rounds.
