    I was at the event this friday and let me tell yall it was fun as hell.... there was probably 5000 people in the crowd & atleast 4500 of them were cuban...

    cuban flags
    horns
    cuba chants
    people doing salsa in the crowd....

    it was an amazing atmosphere....the Cuban support came in full force...

    but besides that... even though both fights were extremely quick we all know what to expect from gamboa... he came out and did what he does... and i hope he continues to win.. the type of support he gets from cubans reminds me of the support tito got from the peurto ricans and gamboa after his fight came out of the locker room and signed or took pictures with up to 250-500 people along side of joel casamayor who was also in attendance giving tips to guys in the ring

    erisland lara looked real great also... took his time and delivered the goods....

    breidis presscot also looked good... even tho he didnt knock out toledo his power looked like it was there and he just couldnt get toledo with a clean shot.... there was also some point in the fight around the 3rd i think where presscot was shaking his wrist indicating that he had maybe hurt it or something.... which would explain his lack of output at certain parts of the fight...

    Honestly, Lara impressed me more. A Lot cleaner Not every boxer will allow Gamboa to hold behind the head like that. He is good but I need to see him against a real opponent

    yeah it was crazy... between gamboa's fight & presscots fight when the fat dude was boxing gamboa came out and he was getting so much love.... everyone in the crowd was standing and waiting to see his next move ... damn near the whole crowd went to where he was at for autographs girls were having him sign there clothing & stuff..... the cubans love this dude..there was a couple of gamboa chants during & after the fight... he needs to keep it up... i hope he doesnt lost any time soon so the sport can have a big time star

    nothing that some more training wont fix.... hopefully hell continue to train and fix his errors
    yeah lara looked great also... real patient and accurate.... cuba has a bright future

    I hope who ever takes over after Raul Castro will allow the Cuban athletes to presue pro careers. Boxing and baseball would benifit.

    Gamboa and Lara both looked great, like they both havethe potential to do big thins. But that was Lara's 4th fight, I have more faith in Gamboa based on experence. I saw someone in the crowd wearing a Gamboa shirt.

    Gamboa has pretty good boxing skills but he does get careless and he has a suspect chin. He better improved his defense fast cuz next time he gets hit he might not get up.

    no offense to anyone but it's kind of dumb to say "next time he gets hit he might not get up."... i mean he's never been hurt. if he was on the ground for 8 seconds all-wobbled-up-khan-style i'd understand... people who dare say his chin sucks are just haters, there is no other option. he's always off balance and his def sucks so he gets hit flush a lot, but he is way too confident vs these low class fighters, what else u expect.

    I was impressed more with Lara than Gamboa.

    He took his time, blinded gross with the right in the face, and then BAM!

    that left came beautiful with his body turning which gives it more power.

    and that uppercut was sweet as well.
