Of course not it does however make you think what would have been. Their has been many who excelled at olympic games but failed at pro level. Think though that the Cubans would have big time impacted on the history of our sport and of course the eastern europeans who were not able to join our prosperous buisness untill recently. Unlike the world series which only America plays in, if the whole world could play boxing would have different heroes

you are correct and anybody who denies this is in complete denial. The Cuban and Eastern Europe boxing schools are amonst the very best. The competition was watered down.

Your right it dose make me think what might have been. Do I think the Cubans and Eastern Europeans would have domatied boxing? No I don't, but they would have been in the mix and would have made the sport more interesting. Your wrong about only America playing in the World Series. The Toronto Blue Jays are a part of MLB they have 2 wins in the World Series in the 90's. Toronto is in Canada.
