Used to favor Cotto to outmaneuver him on the inside by throwing shorter and staying tight, and alternating that between circling the ring behind a jab. After his showing against Trout, not so sure. The speed and the footwork wasn't there. Canelo already has significant offensive advantages.

How exactly is this Cuba vs Puerto Rico?
I got Canelo btw, though i'm a fan of Cotto. Canelo's getting stronger and stronger all the time, and i don't think Cotto is enough of a better boxer (if he even is that) to offset the disadvantage in natural size and strength that he would have to face.
Also, i think Canelo's hands are slightly faster at this point. Canelo by late round TKO

I dont think Cotto can hang with the big boys of the 154 pound division at this stage of his career. During the Trout fight he looked slow, his punches had no zip and his footwork was bad. Sad to say but all those wars he had has finally taken its toll on him. Lets not forget he is a small 154 pound fighter. I think he gets stopped late in the fight.

Canelo is too much of a slick Cuban for Cotto to handle

Cotto's got too much Cuban slickness, the Boricua Canelo has no chance.
