Movement is only one part of defense ..., and please don't make yourself look bad ... whitaker or Ali never stood infront of their opponents with their hands down and whenever they were engaged they didn't stand there with their hands down.

    No headmovement
    No pivoting
    No side stepping
    No tucking of the chin
    No shoulder movement
    No hands up

they even counter or engage with their chins in the air and punching from their hips instead of the shoulders.

Cuban elite team fighters have defected over the last 2 yrs ... and some more are on the way ... I haven't seen anything that has impressed me.

    Joel Casamayor.
    Juan Carlos Gomez.

All were decent cuban amateurs, Gamboa, Garcia and Rigondeaux are excellent cuban amateurs.

Before you say they're overrated, lets wait and see what these guys can do, the two on the top I mentioned have accomplished things in boxing.

No room for improvement ... they're old and there isn't much these guys can do to get better.

all these flaws followed by beating bums and that hype only = disaster

Cuban boxers are ****ing awesome. They are often highly skilled, never lack balls and provide a GREAT influx of talent to the sport. Anyone not happy with that doesn't like boxing.

It's like saying... tennis players are overrated. Or: botanists are overrated. Or: lesbians are overrated. Or: doors are overrated.

You can say that, it just doesn't make any sense.

you're a damn fool ... this has nothing to do with what i'm talking about ... my thing isn't the sport of boxing pro or amateurs ... i'm sticking to amateurs from Cuba being overrated.

    Understand stupid?
