I love watching Napoles. Great footwork and combination punching. Always fighting to his strength and in control of space. He dictated the distance and made opponents pay when they tried to bully him. I'm glad he fought in the era he did where he was appreciated for the brilliant technician that he was. If he fought today he would be called a runner and an overrated Cuban like Lara is called by the knuckle draggers that watch boxing today. Thanks for posting but I bet this awesome thread won't get as much attention as a Jake Paul post or god forbid another Tony Galento post.
I love that fight because I learned so much about how to fight southpaws- and how southpaws should fight normal people- and almost none of it has anything to do with the modern standard.
