That's the beauty in Abril, he was so crafty even though he was so limited. I agree.

It opened my eyes, I realize now that even though I'm a worthless boxer tomato can, I too can outbox guys like mayweather, pacman and Marquez, all I have to do is learn Abril boxing techniques.

    Hug...

    Now grab the arm...

    Ok hug again...

Now grab his arms until the ref says stop...

    repeat...

Best amateurs still unproven in the pro's, and other nations are catching up in the ams. Think Gamboa, Rigondeaux and Lara need those big fights and then Cuba can be get more recognation in the pro's.

Cuba didn't win a single gold medal in the 2008 Olympics.

Good fighters no doubt, I always wondered why they were so good compared to the rest of the world for such a small island but I heard boxing is no1 sport in Cuba, is this true and why are there no white Cuban boxers ?

The African population in Cuba is huge. I think it'll be a 100% black nation in 50 years as they continue to intermarry. With the non black citizens.

They'll be like Haiti or Trinidad and Tobago. Nothing wrong with that, its a great nation regardless.

There are White Cuban boxers and have been, but the majority are of African ancestry. Castro had the White population go to the Universities and the Black go to the Gym. But like I said there have been White boxers out of Cuba.
