Just Leonard, this doesnt need explaining too much , i like Cuevas , Leonard would stop him though here
Pre-Cuevas-Hearns, I go with Cuevas. Leonard learned a lot in the the Duran I fight, like don't fight Cuevas. Post Hearns, Cuevas jaw had been cracked. Leonard by TKO in 7.
If Cuevas hits Leonard ---- he knocks him out cold. He has to hit him. For Cuevas --not an easy task.
Just about, good point. Cuevas' chances of catching Leonard flush were almost zero, tho i think he is underrated he is still basically a one arm fighter and against top greats this may not be enough unless stylistically suited down to the ground.
This would be cruel. Leonard that played with Duran or even stood toe to toe with Duran would beat Cuevas unconscience. I can see the hooks flying if Cuevas did something to ticket Leonard off. Cuevas's punches were too wide and slow. and he left himself way too open. Leonard in 6 by ref stoppage. Leonard would be unloading on Cuevas when the ref stepped in.
Cuevas is much more open than Duran. Leonard's handspeed was no joke -- I see him sharpshooting from range and making it look easy.
The irony Leonard smokes him but anyone with the power of Cuevas can conceivably beat anyone in the divisions history. It would be an upset but not completely unthinkable.
Virtually no chance. I always thought that this would have been a spectacular ko for Leonard. a brilliant showing, like Ali-Williams, except this would be a real live fighter and not one with a bullet in him. SRL ko Cuevas 3.
