Dana White has made it no secret that he wants Cung Le in the UFC. Cung has to finish out his Strikeforce contract first - and then he has movies waiting for him. It's a shame because it would be great to see Cung mix in the UFC middleweight division.
Fans would be anticipate a fight versus either Anderson Silva or even a Georges St. Pierre (as he moves up in weight). The hype would be over the top.
I wouldn't read to much into it; Le is tied to strikeforce not just as a fight but a stakeholder. He is there because his boy Anthony Johnson is fighting, he trains at Le's.
I understand Scott Coker has done alot for him. Le says as much. It would be shame for him to just leave but they want the money and the fights. Strikeforce have to quickly step up to that next level so they don't lose Mousasi and Le etc
