Cung Le relinquishes title. Miller vs Shields now for title.

Cung Le is fighting Scott Smith on Dec. 19th.

Jake Shields states Cung Le is ducking him. I can understand Cung coming back with an easier fight after taking almost two years out of the ring. Hopefully Cung and Shields can fight for the title soon. Should make for a classic striker vs grappler match. If Shields can get Cung to the ground - he should be able to submit him with whatever he wants. I can't blame Shields for trying to draw Cung into a fight - but he really shouldn't complain too much yet as Cung did relinquish his title when he could have held onto it indefinitely - and still not fought Jake. Perhaps they can fight in the first part of the new year before Cung leaves for another movie role.

By the way - Cung was pretty bad ass in Pandorum. Did anyone else see that?
