Thanks for giving us another good example of a delusion board member. :D:rofl:lol:

Le is the guy to burst your bubble. He is the only man at 185 that has a chance against Silva now.

If you think Silva vs Le would have as much draw and significance as Fedor vs Couture than you don't know a thing about MMA.

    Absurd.

    Silva Griffin
    Silva Liddell
    GSP Silva
    GSP Penn 2
    Faber Kid
    Faber Torres
    Torres Penn
    Gomi Penn 2
    Gomi Aoki
    at least a hundred others
    then maybe Silva Le

How many people outside of San Jose know Le? What has Le done in MMA?

wtf has Lawler done and who knows about him? this line of thought is just absurd. if you guys want to argue about technical and styles match ups - that's one thing - but this popularity line of thought is just silly.

Here's another video where Cung talks about Robbie Lawler and Anderson Silva. In short, he says that the Lawler fight is not likely to happen due to conflicts between the networks. He mentions fighting Anderson as a 1 fight in the UFC type of deal.

Not gonna happen. Dana doesn't do 1 fight deals. He will have to sign on for a multi fight contract and have a few bouts before he fights Silva. But he still has some fights left on his Strikeforce contract aswell so it could be some time before this fight happens.

Popularity and accomplishments are the determining factors in how big a fight is, are they not? To call Le vs Silva the second biggest possible fight in MMA is a joke, thats what I was responding to. And what Lawler has done is beat real competition, win a real belt, and who knows him is anybody who saw either of the 2 nationally televised shows he was on, particuarly the one he headlined.

Cung Le could have easily lost to frank but frank didnt use his jujitsu. It was
a fix.Like I said b3for3 he took 3 rounds to beat sammy morgan who had horrible
    standup(who is a low rank)and his San Shuo(how ever you spell it)Is
questionable for debate.Put him in k1 and we'll see him get dropped.

I believe you are correct. I don't see Dana agreeing to anything like this. But Cung seems to be trying to pursue it so let's see how it plays out.

    LOL

    There's always a need for a montage.

I posted the wrong video link. That was supposed to be an interview - but I posted Cung's MMA highlights instead.

Fair enough. sir. ICung vs Silva is the second biggest fight in MMA to me but that doesn't count for much outside of my house.

And Cung has starred on Strikeforce/ISKA on ESPN for the past five years. He is a superhero to the Vietnamese/American community and no doubt is recognizable to other fans as well due to his exposure through ESPN and now on NBC.

It's too bad this fight can't happen.

Put those K1 fighters in San Shou and see Cung throw them on their head.
