No what I was saying is that "IF" he only got KD twice and not 3 times he wins the fight. But if and buts were beer nuts we would have one heck of a party!
Steve is not built for HW. As much as people talk about him moving up to Heavy it won't happen. He does train and spar with Heavyweights all the time and I think he could beat top contenders like Eddie Chambers and a few others. He is only getting better under the training of Nazim.

I was there a few rows back and his jabs looked crisp and had a quick snap. The last fight with Adamek it looked like some of his punches were slaps. This time they were straight foward hard jabs. Just ask Braithwaite he'll be able to tell ya. :thumbsup

    Cheers Axe!

He has to fight Cunningham next. The IBF is making this a mandatory fight by this fall. It has to happen or he gives the belt up. If Ademek wins he then can persue B-Hop or Dawson 2. Kathy Duva and Team Cunningham are already talking.;)

i saw the fight, it wasn't very entertaining but it was a clear win for steve... nobody got hurt, i did notice that when the fight got on the inside, cunningham was smothering his own shots big-time

am i the only one who thinks the way he moves around the ring and how he sometimes cocks his right is kinda like jermain taylor? they have similar leg movements... cunningham is like JT with way better stamina and way less power

USS fought a dumb fight. When he boxed he did so easily and had Adamek's number. It was when he elected to fight Adamek's fight by standing and trading too much is when he got into trouble.

Steve aint the only who can improve!Adamek has a good jab of his own but barely used it against Steve and uses it less at CW in general.

Steve for whatever reason still switches to southpaw at times but is useless from that stance.I think it is some kind of thing he does without thinking about it.

BJ Flores shares the division with these guys and he seemed to sort of hint that Adamek would lose a rematch now that Nasim Richardson is coaching up USS Cunningham. I'm not sure if I'd AGREE with that but I think it speaks of the reputation that Brother Nasiim has.

I'm a Adamek fan and not knocking him at all. I know he can box and has a good jab he's very underrated in that aspect. It's just that USS is better at doing this than Adamek is and it would be in his best interest in the rematch to use that style more.

Too chinny to fight at HW, IMO.

If he thought he could hack it at heavyweight, he'd have moved there by now. DKP has like 10 heavyweights in its stable, so he wouldn't have a problem getting fights there, and there's more money to be made at HW than at CW.

My guess is you don't know the boxing game? When you get caught 2 times with knockdowns you have to try and make up for it. It was a risk that didn't turn out the way he wanted it too. You have a score card right? Well you have to try and give it your all. There was a game plan but sometimes gameplans change during the fight. Regardless of the outcome both fighters put on the IBF FOTY. So try and think before you post stupid stuff.:patsch
