I agree with Cunningham. Maidana is a real pansy.

As much as I am salivating for this fight, a good build up for their fight will certainly not hurt.

Why the rush? Is Alexander going to lose his next fight? does Bradley look beatable they think he will lose that zero against the Maidona, Maliggnani or Khans of 140?

I know for sure Bradley is not ducking Alexander. His resume for the past 3 years tells us he will fight anybody.

Again Urango was barely a "top fighter" Hard , yes. Elite , no.

Witter ( a guy who relied exclusively on speed and reflexes ) was 35 when Devon beat him , a good win but just a good win.

What do you mean by that? Bradley didn't ruined Witter if that's what you trying to say. If Witter wasn't that "good" anymore then he wouldn't easily destroyed a journeymen Hugo before facing Devon.

So? Witter was 34 when he lost to Bradley by split decision.

Urango barely or not was still a top fighter and a title holder. Is he crude and limtied as ****?? Yes. Does he get the job done tho? Yes. Has anyone ever did to him what Alexander did? Nope.

If Witter is just a good win for Alexander then its the same for Bradley. Witter fought Alexander 15 months after Bradley did and the one fight he had inbetween didnt show any major decline. Alexander was just the better man that night and had no respect for Witter or his power and was not affected by his style at all. He ran through him winning ever round. Maybe Witter's "heart not being in the fight" was the reason he quit when he was taken a beating but his "heart not being in it" wasnt the reason why he took the beating.

The Witter that fought Alexander was the same that fought Bradley.

i watched the hugo figth the guy was pish :D

I was a big Witter fan and you could see he had lost a little bit from the Bradley fight and I did say in an earlier post he was already getting on in years when Bradley fought him .

Again as I've said i really really rate Alexander but get that one more big name and the Bradley fight really becomes huge, thats all I'm saying:good

3 years? In 07 Bradley fought a bunch of nobodies lol. If you say 2 years then i wouldn't argue.

15 months is a long time to a mid 30s light welter

but as my other posts say I AM NOT TRYING TO TAKE WAY FROM ALEXANDER ! I consider myself a fan but Bradley has built his name a little bit more , so why not fight one more name and then try and unify for a bugger purse ?
I dont see why this is making you so angry ?

If Witter is not "good" any more after the Bradley fight then he would have struggle badly vs a bum fighter like Hugo correct?

Hmm not really there is a difference between beating up on guys never at your level ( older fighters can often flatter to decieve that way ) and fighting young up and coming stars.

A guy like witter can get away with being sloopy or having lost a step against a guy like Hugo , he cant against a guy like Alexander.

Bradley didnt fight peak Witter either but Bradely did have to come to Witters back yard to do it.

I'm not angry. And yes I'd love if Alexander fought the winner of Kahn vs Malingaggi or Maidana and Bradley fought the other one and then I would really love for them to share a PPV card with Bradley/ Alexander vs Hatton/ JMM AND THEN have them fight. I think the fight would be massive then but I just dont see that happening.

In boxing you gotta make the fights when you can because nowadays like Kirk said "waiting" just makes it more and more of a chance that the fight wont happen.

You "wait" and build up the fight then all of a sudden Ricky Hatton wants to fight Bradley and Bradley takes that fight because he's clearly the bigger name and brings more money to the table but it's not a better fight. Or Alexander has a shot at one of the title holder at 147 then he moves up. Or one of them has a bab preformance ect ect Waiting is never a good thing these days.

Maidana doesnt want the fight I doubt Khan would want the fight so who else is there for ALexander to fight to get that one more big name??

In hindsight Vazquez is decent because of his recent fight with Prescott but in 07 he was a no name with a nice lookin record. And it's still a question mark about how decent he really is.

That is a fair point ! Boxing is so ****ed up these days that if the fight can be made I can see why you're saying just make the damn fight.

If Khan stops Paulie I think he could be convinced to take the Alexander fight ( he would get beaten though , and I like Khan ).
