    Let me get this straight:

Haye wins and defends his European title, manoeuvring himself into the WBC mandatory spot. Having got there, he risks losing it by moving up to heavyweight to take on a solid fighter instead of taking an easy cruiserweight tuneup. Having come through that, he fights and stops the linear champ in his own back yard. Despite struggling to make weight, he then agrees to fight the hardest hitting of the other 2 champs in his very next fight.

Now, having achieved all of the above, he's being accused of having no balls? If that's the case, then there must be a hell of a lot of fighters seriously lacking in testes.

I defy any of you to find modern fighters in any great number that have fought back to back world champs.

Mayweather fought 3 straight world champs over two divisions(that changes to 4 champs over 3 divisions if you count Hatton). I believe Hatton also achieved the feat on two separate occasions. Trinidad also accomplished this feat. Add DLH and Juan Diaz to that list as well. I'll come back with some more

Haye does not need Cunningham, this will be his last fight at criuser.

He will move up to fight some solid Heavy's and win lose or draw put on a show. The man is a unified champion and he has only 21 fights and instead of fighting a weaker opponent either at heavy or cruiser after his fight with Mormeck he fights the 2/3 in the division.

The guy is doing well for himself i think.

Why do you like USS so much Reg?

Haye has a great win. Cunningham has the better overall resume. I would love to see the fight.

BTW, Haye is going to get KTFO at Heavy.

If you're counting Judah in PBF's run, we both know Baldomir should've held that belt. I'm not going to criticise Floyd though as he and all the others you named are great fighters who shouldn't have their bravery questioned.

Given the number of world title fights we have nowadays, this fairly small number surely proves my point, though. Just look how long it took for Sultan and Wlad to try and unify any part of the heavyweight title.

Even if you take away Judah, he still beat Baldo and DLH in consecutive fights. Oh yeah, add SRL, and Bernard Hopkins to that list.

Again, great fighters. My point wasn't that nobody had done it, merely that it wasn't all the common. The fact that the names you come up with are all top notch fighters only adds to that.

I'm not having a go at Cunningham as I actually rate the bloke, it's just the that calling Haye a ducker when he's fighting back to back, dangerous world champs at a weight he struggles with, annoys me.

I just noticed, you said guys who fought back to back champions. I named guys who fought and won against champions back to back. This list will get bigger. I call Haye a punk because Cunningham has more than paid his dues and this guy just dismisses him like he's nothing. I hear everyone on this board complaining about people fighting for money instead of legacy. Now I hear all of them saying that Cunningham is a nobody; completely ignoring that he's a titleholder and the number 1 contender in the division. Haye lost a lot of cool points with me. I hope he gets knocked out. That way we have an opportunity to see the two best in the divsion fight for all 5 belts.

I did mean guys who won both matches, although yes, I am counting my chickens a little too soon.

I wasn't having a go at you particularly, just those who were calling him '*****', 'ducker' etc. I agree though that he wasn't fair in his assessment; Cunningham's done the fighting in a foreign country thing too and come out on top, against highly ranked opponents too.

To reiterate, I like Cunningham. Haye was unfair in his comments. However, Haye isn't going to stick about for this fight as he stands to gain too little. Unfortunate for Cunningham, but true.

This thread is hilarious. Imagine if Haye were American and Cunningham British.

Haye would be the re-incarnation of Ali and Cunningham would be dismissed as a nobody who had only fought Eurobums.

Look how much adulation Chad Dawson gets on ESB. But he's had more fights than Haye, never fought anyone in Mormecks class or done anything like as ballsy as Haye did in going to Paris to do so.

Bull**** he is, Macca has beaten Braithwaite, which is a better win than any of Cunningham's.

Beating Wlodarczyk in Poland and TKO'ing Huck in Germany is better.

The only problem is that you have it backwards. Cunningham gets hardly any publicity. Haye is fighting on American T.V this Saturday. Cunningham has yet to get a U.S t.v date. Hardly anyone on this board gives Cunningham his due while tons of British posters pole jock Haye left and right.

Dawson gets adulation because he's a very skilled fighter(unlike Haye who will be KO'D again soon enough). And we will soon find out if Adamek is in Mormeck's class as he's going to fight O'neil Bell.

Cant say Im really suprised that one of you brits compared Haye to Ali.

Thats the thing cant stand about you brits is you talk **** about americans then you "slag" off of our boxing history.

And chad dawson is undefeated, never been put out like Haye, and Adamek is arguable as good at LH as Mormeck at Cruiser so how about you stfu.
