Jones is probably Cunningham's best win.

Rothmann lost his title challenge against Carl Thompson, and then went on to fight Cunningham (meanwhile the winner went on to his next fight against....David Haye in only his 11th Pro fight).

Wlodarcyzk was only a world champ because he previously beat Cunningham for the vacant title.

Huck - golden boy? Well there was certainly some hype about him, but did you see that fight? Huck looked very average and distinctly overrated.

    Haye beat the man.

Lacy took a 12 round lesson from the man.

    See the difference?

Haye is looking past his next fight. He claims he will easily knock Vladimir Klitschko out! LOL! I think he should worry about his fights at crusierweight.

Vlad by extremely brutal knockout of Haye anyday!

And Haye's level of hype on this board is disturbingly similar to the sort of hype Jeff Lacy was getting, it's just coming from a different continent.

It's easy to call someone out when you know they're moving up a division and won't get the chance to shut your mouth.

Haye has bigger fish to fry than Cunningham, bigger fights, more money, more prestige....

does steve have the backing and money behind him to do as you say?

he has had to fight on the road because he does not IMO.

as far as i am aware in the last 20 years since holyfield the cruiserweight division in america has been a graveyard as far as exposure and money are concerned.

haye is getting $2 million for saturdays fight in the uk and if he were to win he stands to earn more than that as a heavy.

could team cunningham put together a $3 million package for haye alone to make the unification?

warren is putting up the money for his fighter maccaranelli saturday.

2 to 3 million is what winky and hopkins got , but i cannot see america willing to put that kind of money up for a fighter (cunningham) who has to go overseas to earn money because american tv have had no real intrest.

i have seen cunningham fight more than american tv execs have .

i think he is a very good /talented fighter and it is a shame american tv companys boycott there own young fighters in favour of the geriatric recycled big former names .

It would be a bit worrying if he said he couldn't, considering he has a fight at the weight on Saturday.

Cunningham has the better resume overall of the two. But Haye did beat THE CHAMP in HIS backyard. Not only that he stopped him. So Hayes best win is better and far more significant than Cunninghams best win. USS is without a doubt the nr 1 contender at cruiser, but unfortunently he is virtually unknown to the public at least stateside. Even if Haye-USS on paper would be a fight for "all the marbles" I just don't think it would make any money and would certainly not hold up as the main event of a fightcard. So in conclusion while I wouldn't mind seeing the two slug it out, I don't see it happening for the above stated reasons. Besides if Haye is moving up to heavy the whole discussion is moot.
