Cunningham vs Adamek

Adamek wants/needs a big payday as bad as anybody in the sport right now. That's his focus. I say he's earned it. Cunningham can't offer that. Looking forward to the rematch as well when the time comes.

 

Adamek defiantly deserves a few big paydays for some of the wars hes been in.

 

Adamek and his team wants no part of Cunningham. This rematch will never happen. They are just scared.

 

Adamek is after money against Golota and recognition against BHop, both before fighting Cunningham.

Truth is no TV made a substantial offer to put the fight together, Adamek knows that it's a very dificult fight for him and will go for the other options which look better for him.

Maybe Cunningham can get a title fight against G. Jones instead of waiting around, as both are DKP fighters.

 

He said like a million times that he doesn't mind fighting Cunningham again if that's where the road takes him.

Can you blame him for wanting to fight bigger names in the sport?

Yeah... he's scared of someone he knocked down three times in one fight.

 

I want to see the rematch. I think it has been one of most under-rated fights in a very long time. Why would Adamek bother with Golota... when he could gain more popularity for fighting again with a younger, better Cunningham.

i hope/think the rematch will happen at some point and it should be another great fight when it happens.

 

Because Adamek-Golota is such a bigger draw. I love boxing but I can care less about a USS rematch, win or lose.

They tried to make it happen but no one wanted to pick up the fight.

Unfortunately there's not enough money in the CW division to make a fight with Cunningham possible although both fighters are actually interested in a rematch as well as the fans asking for it.
There's plenty of interesting match-ups at CW, shame most of them won't happen.

 

Honestly if anybody deserves money for that fight it's Cunningham, the guy's career's mismanagement is up there with JMM's.

 

Not really..that's the price you pay for signing with Con King.Adamek lost well over a year worth of fights when he was under DKP.
