Curmel Moton vs Abdullah Mason. Who's the more promising prospect?

Mason is now champ at age 21. Might be a matter of time until Moton gets a title as well at a young age and perhaps we might end up seeing these two fight in the future. They both have promising careers but between the two I think Mason has the makings of a future HOFer.

 

Mason has definitely improved dramatically over his last few fights. Moton has enormous potential as well. It'd be good to see him step up and fight a top-40/50 guy over 10 rounds, and see how he gets on. Still seems very hittable at the moment, and his power and snap aren't quite there like Mason's, but we could see it develop over the next 2/3 years.

 

Moton’s head will be too swollen due to the social media attention and people already claiming he’s something he isn’t.

I think when the going gets rough he’s gonna crumble. I just think this perpetual gassing up does a number on the ego that usually doesn’t bode well in the end.

I mean, look what it’s done to Tank - and we were all saying the same about him early on…

Mason is proven after the war with Noakes.

 

I think he's already becoming too big headed for his own good. He's aware of how talented he is and he also enjoys beating up sparring partners. Sooner or later he might end up getting humbled by someone. Perhaps Mason might be that person to do so.
