I'm bringing up PDL because in and out combinations and experience allowed him to confuse Broner as to when he was coming in and limited his opportunities to counter once he threw multiple shots. And PDL is not known as a puncher, and still went the distance, so the power disparity doesn't matter as much as you think. Broner can't set his feet if Diaz keeps bullying him like he did early on to Nate, if you bothered to watch the rounds I highlighted in that video, so the hard shots Broner gets to land become far less than we've seen from any fight with any opponent Broner has faced.

    Thank you.

    As the poll indicates.

    Not even close!

Broner has already surpassed Diaz in every aspect whatever.

:patsch Just because a person picked Broner to win (I did), it doesn't necessarily mean they think he destroys Diaz with one hand tied behind his back.

I'd probably tip Broner to win in a competitive fight by pulling away with cleaner/more damaging punching down the stretch, but Diaz's quick hands, workrate, and relentlessness would seriously test Broner. Broner doesn't have truly great head movement and reflexes the way the greats who employed the shoulder-roll inside defense have. This wouldn't be a cakewalk for either guy.

Nobody said, or even implied "that". :patsch

But he is still just much better, already, than Diaz was.

I have already watched the Nate fight when it happened. Diaz is not going to Bully Broner.

Why not? He's pushed back better fighters than Broner. Including Nate.

Seriously? He's easily accomplished more than Broner has as of now.

I'm not even a Baby Bull fan but the forum is somehow under the impression that any quick counter-puncher can kill nearly any pressure fighter in history.

I agree that he accomplished more than Broner has yet. He beat up an old Freitas and made him cry, was impressive against Paulie the first time, and IMO looked pretty good before getting iced by Marquez the first time.

However, after seeing what one of my favorite fighters, Nate Campbell, did to him, I can't imagine Juan having a chance against Broner. Broner tears his face off and forces a merciful ref stoppage.
