Should Arreola, Chambers deserve any credit for the fact they have had most of their fights in america, despite all the HW champions being from EU?
Adamek seems to split his fights between poland and USA mostly so this doesnt effect him as much ( even tho technically he is still fighting at home half the time and place of birth the other half).

My question is SHOULD they be placed under the same strict rules many fans on here place on people like calzaghe?

I just read how HBO is dropping the champions of the HW division lol, So now to ensure they get best tv deals the americans probally end up fighting people other than the champions? If they do choose to fight in america against non champions but for more cash doesnt this make them weak and undeserving of credit?

Why do they sook tho? They defensive but so is Floyd, they have boring tactical fights but so does Hopkins?. Yet neither of those two would ever be dropped or slated ( in regard to klts)

The Nipples blew it. All he had to do is get in shape. He has Al Haymon managing him & HBO gave this clown numerous opportunities. His team puts him in position, but he's not doing his part

You know better Tal. The reason Calzaghe gets hit hard and often is because the sum of the parts.

It's not just the fact he didn't come to the US...... It's the extremely weak defenses for almost a decade, quotes about not wanting to take risks or tough fights, staying regional for the most part(not necessarily UK), general lack of quality opposition, aged elite fighters, the focused protection of the "0", etc, etc.

If Calzaghe had come to the US and fought a guy like Brewer or Manfredo he would still be getting **** from fight fans.

In regards to the HW's, you get credit for the opponents you beat. It matters far less where you did it. I'd rather see prime Jones vs prime Calzaghe in Ghana than Calzaghe vs Mitchel in Vegas.

Oh i agree Des and i accept all calzaghes flaws. This thread was just a reaction to all the silly pointless attacks i see. The problem is people dont come out and accept things were as you described. They just go into these insulting rants with no thought or attempt to keep bias out of the thread. I just wish all fighters where made to fight the best in neutral places. This goes for all of them so Jones would have been forced to fight calzaghe and haye to fight the klits and so on and on.
