Been seeing a lot of heavyweight fantasy matchups on here the past few days so I thought of this one.

So how would AJ have done against the version of Lewis that fought Vitali? Does AJ pull off the upset or does Lewis still have enough in the tank to win?

Enjoying the fantasy match-ups on the forums.

An old Lennox would have put prime AJ flat on his back within three to four rounds. It would be a fairly similiar fight to Lennox V Grant. The difference in skill, IQ between Lennox and AJ is crazy. Lennox would win each exchange: this would range from outboxing, to mid-range and to in-fighting. Lennox was just that much better than AJ.

I'd also back Vitali who Lennox beat in 2003, to knock AJ out pretty early.

The Lennox who stumbled forward , blocked punches with his face and collapsed into his corner between rounds?

The fast , hard , surgically accurate , precision punching AJ sprawls that Lewis out for the count of 10.

Lewis would have sparked AJ out no doubt in my mind. For me he stops/beats all of the current lot even in 2003.

Even Lewis at that stage I would back to beat AJ by mid round stoppage.

Both 2003 Lennox and 2003 Vitali KO current Joshua inside 6 rounds

Looooool ... You are a Mr. Jokes Joke.

I agree that Lewis wins, but Grant is no where near Joshua level, Jesus. Do not be deluded.

Lewis would knock him out…He may have been washed but his skill level is higher and he would take AJ out in the middle rounds…

Lennox Lewis was a different animal to the heavyweights of today. I mean no disrespect to AJ but Lewis would annihilate him.

I don't think Vitali does tbh. He might win, but It took him 8 rounds to KO 39 year old Sanders and Danny Williams. His power gets overated.

If Joshua gets the same useless referee Vitali did he's probably getting stopped.

I don't even rate Grant at all - and I never said I did - he is barely a bit better than the likes of Helenius or Charles Martin. I just think AJ V Lennox would end up being fairly similar to Lennox V Grant.
