Man you are all over the place with this post. I don't even know where to begin.

Santos for starters does have a good punch. If he didn't he'd not have 22 kos in 31 wins. I honestly don't know where you get this idea that Santos can't punch. How many of his fights have you seen?

Secondly, both Clottey and Margarito were injured in that fight. So no favoritism here, ok? Tell me what is worse here. A sprained ankle or a bruised knuckle?

Cintron may be clumsy, but robotic? Did he look robotic in destroying those C level opponents before? Cintron isn't robotic, he just doesn't have a solid inside game. He was a little longer than Margarito so when Margarito got inside he couldn't cope well.

And Margarito being saved by his corner is funny. Really. I've seen Margarito come back from some real punishment. Nothing Cotto brings to this fight will surprise or shock Margarito. He's been hit by harder punchers and walked through that sort of fire. IF Cotto even thinks about setting his feet to hurt Margarito he's gonna catch one of those haymaker uppercuts and be out on his back. IF Cotto wins this fight it will be a decision victory with him on his bike for 12 rounds. Get used to that.

I agree that Ambition Def is probably the only Marg supporter on here that actually comes up with intelligent **** to say about the outcomes of Marg fights.

But your post right here paulie was really.....:smh

    Ha ha ha!

The last thing I care about is kissing anyone's ass. That should be pretty obvious by now.

If you watch the sport at all and particularly if you gamble on it, the more you know the better.

In that vein, when I see somone like Ambition Def I am more than happy to promote him because he can help other people learn how to look at fights. That's what's funny about me to other people -- they think I have a big ego but I'm always the first guy to pump-up other people's work.

I don't have anything to gain by kissing Ambition Def's ass. I don't come to ESB nearly as much as I once did and I see in Ambition Def a guy who knows boxing and can articulate his thoughts well which will help other posters and the site, so I wanted to give him some daps.

    That's it, hoss!

    :good:thumbsup:good

I never followed up on this post. I was being sarcastic about throwing the towel by the corner. I still believe Cotto will win by decision or late stoppage.

I was just being humorous, but as far as Santos who I like as a fighter, I meant he is no knock out artist. There are plenty of fighters that have twenty to twenty-five knockouts in their resume, but most victims are poor opposition. You know that. Santos is a very good southpaw boxer and puncher with very good defense. I would fight with a with a bruised knuckle if I had the choice. C level fighters? You answered the question. His physical abilities are valid unless you are pressuring him, but he is still very green in my eyes due to starting late in the game. Started late and winning a title twice is no easy task. All kidding aside, Cotto by decision or late stoppage. I can get use to Cotto winning. It will not end that way, but we will see. Oh, I have not seen many of Santos fights, but a few. Santos vs Juntauh comes to mind.

Relax, if you want to be a cheerleader for others, thats fine. I was joking and never came back to check on the thread to defend myself. Do I know boxing? I came in second in the NJ Golden gloves. Trained side by side with the likes of Bobby Cysz, Imimu Mayfield, Terrence Ali, Bo James, John Ruiz, and Dana Rosenblatt to name more than a few. I have trained fighters from ages of 10 and older. Trained Police, Firefighters, and Correction officers. I have been watching fights since Ali was fighting on free television. Enough about myself, but to insinuate that your idol will educate other members is ******ed. If you and he cannot read inbetween lines? Anyways, **** it, forget about the towel, Cotto is going to knock his ass out. They can use the towel for a pillow to rest his head or maybe they can use your pom poms. Peace.

Hey??? The version of Mosley that fought Cotto would beat marg convincingly. Too fast, too smart, too tough, too good.

    Not even debatable.

2000 version of Mosley is no different either, maybe a SLIGHTLY more dominant performance. What he has lost now in speed and athleticism (small amount) would be more then made up for IMo by his greater ring intelligence and ring generalmanship.

I can't believe people here think that this post is good. Utter crap.
Since when does Santos have power... He couldn't knockout Zuniga, struggled to KO an ancient Campas (the same one in his prime who was BRUTALLY stopped by Tito among others much earlier) and has been beaten by other B level fighters like Jantuah. 22Ko in 31 wins is a very average KO ratio, what a crap point.

He had a lot of trouble beating Clottey, regardless of injury or not. Clottey overall isn't an elite fighter. Your trying to make an arguement about him beating Mosley, yet Clottey is clearly not in the same league here. The injury to Clotteys hand obviously had more effect as well, AS IT SEVERLY LIMITED HIS PUNCH OUTPUT. Marg in comparison appeared totally un-injured as shown by his ridiculously high punch output. So the degree of the injury is clearly visible for anyone who saw the fight.

Cintron is EXTREMELY Robotic. He always has been. Anyone with two eyes can see that. That was the major reason in going with Steward as a trainer, to try and get him to fight more naturally. The reason behind it is the fact he had a very limited amatuer career (non existant actually from memory). Cintron in reality is a nothing fighter, who was overhyped due to a couple of impressive KO's. One against the Reid (gatekeeper) and the other against Maythsse (overated prospect, thrashed by Williams also).

You point out that Marg has been in there with big hitters before, and never been KO'd... But then in hypocritical fashion point to Cotto getting KO'd if caught clean. At 147 though Cotto has been in with both Judah and Mosley, both good punchers, both of whom have been unable to seriously hurt Cotto, despite catching him clean.

Cotto will be a boxer puncher for this fight, that is certain. But he won't be "on his bike" the entire fight. He will beat Marg both inside and out, as he is the superior fighter in both areas.

Don't stress, your posts made more sense to anyone with a clue regardless. Just because someone supported them, suddenly it is "the best post ever" LMAO. If that is the best post ever, time to find another forum. Quite Inaccurate.

I say shane, some may look at shane losses and most of them come from tall fighters (excluding cotto), however the fighters in which shane lost to are not only tall but skilled. Margarito has some skill but he isnt as skilled as winky wright, forrest, and to a lesser extent the de la hoya (referring to the second fight in which i believe DLH won but i will save that argument for another day.) So in such a fight i favor the slick fast boxer puncher in mosley by a comfortable decision, he wont ko margarito because marg has too good of heart and chin to go out like that.
