    khan skillswise, but thaxton is number 1 based on achievement. that will change if khan beats barrera

    Thaxton, Khan may have the beating of him at this stage in their careers but I still like to go with acheivements and opponents fought/ beaten rather that what-if potential.

    number 1 for me is thaxton. he is european champ and a very awkward fighter to beat

    number 2 is john murray.

    number 3 i dont really know..kahn has done nothing to convince me he is the real deal,he is just a hype job.and how can people rank kahn as number 1? imo he first needs to prove it,

    I do like Khan being local..ish to me and all. But on merit, Thaxton has to be number 1 for holding the Euro Title, fair play to him. And Khan then comes second. Murray probably 3rd then. Initially wasn't too keen on Thaxton but after having seen him on ITV Boxing last week, he seems a genuinely decent chap. Have heard a lot about Gethin but haven't seen him fight, and same with Lawton, not seen a fight of his after the Khan bout.
