How will the current post-Margarito/Pacquiao version of cotto fare against the younger, yet still green Andre Berto?

Even though he's taken his lumps lately, I think Cotto still has enough to take a decision from Berto. The thing that would concern me in this fight would be if Steward isn't able to correct Cotto's defense against the uppercut it could be a long night for Cotto as Berto does have a pretty good uppercut.

    How does ESB see it?

Would be a very good fight...Berto is fast as hell and has heart...Cotto may be damaged goods IMO...If Clottey was able to get to Cotto, than Berto sure can....I'd like to see Berto/Clottey....two super dark dudes goin at it...always fun to watch.

This fight won't even be fun to watch, Cotto should be able to dismantle this kid within 7 rds.

Don't know, both have questionable chins, Berto doesn't hit as hard but he has faster hands, real interesting IMO.

Cotto's chin isn't questionable at all...He should of been knocked out LIGHTS OUT against Margarito, he was taking devasting shots from both Pac and Margarito...the fight had to be stopped because Cotto wouldn't go down....Cotto has came back from knockdowns also in the past...he took some big shots from Mosley also and came out with the win.

Berto isn't even in Cotto's class right now and will never be.

and Cotto BEAT Clottely, get over it already.

Cotto knocks Berto out within 7 to 9 rounds. It'll be explosive at first, but eventually Cotto's superior technical skills will take over and from that point on it's a Berto beat down.

Not sure at this point because cotto has alot of questions surrounding him now.. pretty sure it would be classic given both guys tendency to fight. Honestly now I'd take Berto by decision, but Cotto may surprise the hell outta me with Steward and finally become the fighter he was supposed to be..

I am pleasantly surprised at how big of a landslide this is.
