If the grim reaper had to go the distance with Ali before getting the decision, Wilder never lands clean, if he did, Ali rises for the count, Dundee rips his glove and buys time.

Wilder has never faced a single opponent of any ability and I include Fury in that because he was a recovering drug addict, alcoholic, had a mental breakdown and had lost 10st in a hurry just before the fight. Wilder’s record is full of opponents from outside the top 300, unranked, semi retired, over the hill, physically or medically unfit and set ups!

I’d cut him some slack if he’d taken the opportunities to fight Wladimir Klitschko, Andy Ruiz, Anthony Joshua, Dylian Whyte or Joseph Parker, the only credible opponents out there but he found a reason to duck them all in favour of Stiverne 2, Washington and the like.

So on what basis has Wilder been elevated to Ali, Forman, Lewis & Tyson level?
The bloke desperately needs some credible wins on his record.

Well Ali is similar to Fury but with more power, less height and a better chin. So personally I see it going how the Fury fight went, but with Wilder getting knocked out in the second half of the fight.

 

I think it would be cat and mouse type fight where Ali flutters around making Wilder look foolish. And at any time it could be over with the equalizer Wilder has in that right glove. So pretry much throughout, you would jus be wonderin IF and WHEN

Yup but only if mike got him out of there first which I believe mike would but if he gets caught clean he'd get knocked out.

 

Out of all the HW's past and present, I can't think of a worse stylistic match up for Wilder.

Wilder's size would have been a disadvantage against Mike.

Mike's small size and his bob and weave style would have made it incredibly difficult for Wilder to have timed him.

I don't think Wilder would ever have had the opportunity to have landed his huge right hand.

I think Mike would have gotten inside and broken him down.

Definitely favor Ali here TKO 11th but would not be surprised if wilder takes it
