macklin is english born. cleverly gair enough aint english, but he's still an amazing prosepct. darren barker is unproven atm IMO but khan is as english as they come, that bein he was born here an speaks the language, you need no other criteria
Haye and Khan are really our only 2 world class operators at the minute, however the next 3-5 years will hold some very exciting times for British boxing as there is some real talent breaking thru (Gavin, Degale, Price, Cox, Saunders, Jeffries) and hopefully stepping up in 2010 (Barker, Mitchell, Murray, Brook, Bellow, Cleverly). They may not all make it at world level but they should be contesting titles and ensuring a good future for British boxing.
What if the person was born in London but so deaf that they were unable to learn how to speak? By the way, I'm talking bull**** obviously. I just thought it was funny. Technically the only thing that matters is the person is born here if it's a matter of legal nationality. If we're talking about identity then I think there are other things which can be important to, not just birth and speaking the language.
but what if your born in pakistan move over to england and learn to speak with an english accent at an early age then grow up like that in england , would you be english or pakistani ??
