Whats that better resume you speak of? A fluke win over AJ, losing the rematch 119-109. Barely beating a 42 year old Ortiz? 70% of people thought Zhang beat Hrgovic... Literally last year the top 2 "prospects" for the title were Joyce and Hrgovic and Zhang took care of both

Ruiz is 6-7 years younger and has a better resume yes, fluke win or not call it what you want he beat him.

Parker AJ twice and Ortiz is better resume than Hrgovic who’s **** himself and Joyce.

    Atm:

    Joshua>Joyce>Ortiz>Hrgovic

Hrgovic has no good wins, and Ortiz only has Jennings and Martin. I agree that Ruiz has the better resume overall. He also arguably got shafted vs Parker. All together, based on their resumes so far:

    Joshua>Joyce>Parker>Forrest>Ortiz>Hrgovic

(Forrest got screwed vs Franklin and Hunter, while also getting a draw with Zhang. A win over Ortiz is better than a draw vs Forrest, and Forrest is probably H2H significantly worse than Ortiz, but he has had the better career purely in terms of wins over opposition.

The issue with the current heavyweight era they wont fight one another.

No reason Fury couldn't fight 3x a year.

There all so inactive. Fury and Usyk on paper would be the clear best 2 but there isn't any opportunity there for the guys below because everyone is too inactive.

Vlad was boring but fought 2, sometimes 3 times a year for over a decade so you knew he was better then the others.. The whole Top 5 are inactive as all ****, no one fights one another.. its a joke.

Yes, it's very uncomfortable isn't it?

The problem is that Wilder, Ruiz and AJ are all packed together basically having done **** all in the last two years. Wilder hasn't won a meaningful fight since 2019. AJ is 3-3 and the last meaningful win he had was over Ruiz, who in turn has one meaningful win over AJ plus a nip-and-tuck with Ortiz.

In the end, I think Zhang's nip-and-tuck with Hrgobiv plus his mash of Joyce is preferable to these arrangements. But you are right, it is uncomfortable and I would be very grateful if one of those three (Wilder, Ruiz, AJ) could eliminate another contender please (or even one of each other...) and hop into the 3 spot.

I think Fury beats everyone in the Top 10 and easily but will he fight any of them?

    Probably not....

He wants to keep that 0

Styles do make fights, on that basis I think Wilder hurts Joyce really badly. He's such an easy target and is highly likely to connect with something big early on. I'd actually be really worried for Joe if he signed up for that fight.

In no way can you rate Joyce inside the Top 5.. he has zero defence, just lets his opponents hit him clean hit after hit.. and as you get older that won't work.

Fury beat an ancient Wlad eight years ago and a zero skill KO artist three times. That’s it, that’s his resume. Is that enough to consider him the best active HW?

To me, the best active HW in terms of skills and talent is Usyk and it’s not even close. In terms of who has the deepest resume, it’s Joshua and it’s not even close.
