So Wlad isn't a natural born puncher? Wlad always had power even back in the ams..................that's natural POWER.
An argument can certainly be made. Between Tua, Peter & Briggs I think the power is very close. I'd say Peter has the most brute strength of those 3 & Briggs has the best technique. Tua has a roughly equal combination of both.
That should be a different thread! :thumbsup Of those listed only a few have that power in both hands. Tua for instance is mostly known for the left hook, but Briggs has power in both hands like Wlad does.
Do you also agree that Shannon's power comes from brute strength as well as proper technique? I mean, Peter doesn't have the best technique but his brute strength makes up for it....................
I think it's a little of both. I followed him for a while, and watched a good bit of his fights. His punches are pretty fluid early in fights, more so in the late 90's and early 2000's than now. Though he can counter punch well, this can be seen against Lykhovich. His punches did alot more damage than Brewsters did. He's a true one punch knockout artist. Peter is more brute strength in my opinion. His punches are generally looping and more sluggish in nature. Similar to a young Forman who threw punches from odd angles. Though both men are naturally strong and have alot of force behind there punches because of it.

You should have also put Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis up there then! BTW I say Wlad and it really is beyond debate at this point. Wlad's power is often negated by his safety-first style, but when he lets fly he displays tremendous power.
