Despite his age no one can seem to do a number on Hopkins. Arguments will rage forever about who won the Taylor, Calzaghe and Pascal fights, but the one thing no objective person can deny is that these fights were close. Logic would suggest that no matter how good Hopkins is for his age, any World class fighter worth his salt shouldn't have all that much trouble with a man in his fourties, yet they all do. Is Hopkins just that good? Are the current crop of fighters simply not that good? Or is the truth somewhere in the middle? So this got me thinking, how would prime ATG like Monzon, Hagler, Moore, Charles, Tunney etc do against the current version of Hopkins?
B-Hop 50/50 against all of them But logic here in ESB is that if they are fighters from 30-40-50yrs ago and are considered dead or old retired legends in their late 50s,60s,70s, they can't be beat by modern legends. Example If Ali gets compared to Lennox Lewis or Vit Klit, people will assume ALI will beat em both easy because ALI is a legend from the past. But in reality, we will never know what is going to happen because all of these are regular joe predictions.
