I don't even see that. Margo used his size advantage he had at 147 to try and bully much smaller fighters but as you saw against guys his size like Williams it didn't work. Charlo is stronger than Williams just as tough but meaner and punches much harder than Williams. Charlo would tee off on a slow wide open plodder like margo with power shots as he tried to come in and they will take their toll. After about 3 or 4 rounds of this margo will be done and would get brutally koed. This fight wouldn't be remotely competitive.

Margarito is severely overrated, but besides that, I think Charlo is just a notch above him.
At 147, Margarito´s pressure and volume were his key, something that no longer worked at 154. Hell, Cotto even got the better of him in the rematch. He had an OK round before the stoppage and some act as if Cotto got lucky.

Broner is in a similar boat. His style worked well against smaller fighter but not so much against the big guys.


However, I think it would be quite competitive.

Clottey was another big guy at the weight and he had no issues with Margarito´s size.

Man, I kinda keep forgetting how well Margarito let his hands go.
