How much explosive/entertaining of a fight that fight would be had these two fighters met each other?

    That's the question.

I'm not gonna really ask who would win because any version of Manny would probably beat Gatti but nevertheless, I think that had these two warriors fought each other, it would've been lights out a hell of a fight. A past prime Pacman vs prime Gatti would be a closer fight than a prime vs prime fight.

Would Pacman take out Gatti like he did to Hatton? Hatton and Gatti are similar style fighters.

    Who here agrees?
    What's everyone's thoughts?

Any version of Manny Pacquiao smokes the limited Gatti. A prime Gatti lost twice to Ivan Robinson, and was stopped by Angel Manfreddy. Gatti was certainly an exciting fighter, but, nowhere near Manny's class.

    'stopped by manfredy'

Manfredy stopped gatti on a cut not by knockout so that means nothing about this fight unless you mean he gets stopped on cuts.

Pacquiao comfortably wins an entertaining fight, i think the fight would be much more competitive than the hatton blowout however.

Pac could retire until he's 75, make a comeback, and still batter the very best version of Gatti.

From memory,...and minus most of his athletic gifts, he still finds a way to beat Gatti by a wide decision, or even a tko. In his prime, Pac would have dealt with Gatti like he did Hatton.
