Can a retired fighter beat a current great at a weight he's never fought at? No.

Canelo is far better than he was when he lost to Floyd and he punches harder, he just stopped a light heavy! Floyd is far too small, he was even small at 154.

Basically you're asking can a 42 year old promoter who hasnt fought a legitimate boxing match in 4 years, beat a prime P4P level fighter at a weight class 2 classes above his own prime?

    No.

Can you imagine if Mayweather actually came back and beat him...?

Don’t see it happening though and no, I don’t think he (Mayweather wins at this point)

Even the mayweather that fought Canelo would have a much much tougher fight against the current canelo. I still expect mayweather to win infact i know he would, but it would be alot closer.

No. Just no. Floyd fought a green and drained Canelo. Prime juiced Canelo puts Floyd in a body bag @ 160.

HAHA based on that performance. GANDAD kovalev was outpointing him without throwing a back hand all fight.

PBF was 36 old and faded in his 5th weigthclass but you left that out because it doesn't fit your agenda. Lets see Canelo at 36 past his best in his 5th weight class take on a young beast and see how it goes for him.:deal: That was a great win for PBF that gets even better with time.

Floyd is very well preserved and took very little damage in his career. Canelo is now fighting at 175, so that tells you how drained he was when he fought Floyd. Canelo is bigger, faster, far more evolved, and his power has gone way up. He bodies Floyd now.

Of course he bodies him now PBF is retired and shot. Prime vs Prime PBF would always beat Canelo at 154, he's more complete and would beat Canelo at his own game he's a horrible styles match up for Canelo. he will always hold the reach advantage speed stamina and reflex advantage against him maybe he wouldn't shut him out but he would sure as hell give him fits and outbox him to a win.
