This is silly...yes he was considered the undisputed Champ at cruiser...so what? So was Mormeck and Bell at one time. Again I ask, so what?

Did he clean out the division...no, not by a longshot.

After 23 fights, 2 at Heavyweight, the Haye fans want to deem this guy champion emeritus!!

Dude, you're not making any sense....you're refering to a former title holder, also look at his record and look at Monte's.

Dude, get off of Haye's nuts!!

    What about records?

Look at Tye Fields record, does that make him a better fighter than Jeff Lacy? Of course not.

Look at Glen Johnson's record, does that make him a worse fighter than Jeff Lacy? No ****ing way.

It doesn't matter what he achieved, Manuel Medina was a 2 time former featherweight champion I believe, long-term aswell. Does that mean he's still a good fighter? No, he's finished. Just like Lacy.

Kessler, Taylor, Bute, Froch, Andrade, Pascal, Inkin, Dirrell, Mundine, Balzsay, Berrio, Bika, Soliman, Zuniga, these guys could probably all beat Lacy, I could name some more if I could be bothered, he's not the #15 in the world, because he will never again be even a contender let alone a belt holder.

He's probably closer to around #20, which is around where Monte Barrett should of been and was prior to the Haye fight.

Serious Hayehugging from the islands in there?! :D:D:D

Haye is a contender at HW, not more. Dimitrenko was done more to deserve a place in the top 10 (HW). Haye has to earn a spot nothing more nothing less. :)

Then do you have to have Holyfield in the top 10?

I've given you 14 who I think could beat him.

Dude, what a pathetic argument...I can't believe you brought Tye Fields into this argument!!

Lacy was a former title holder with only 2 losses to Calzaghe and Taylor...I can't believe you don't see what a bad example that was!!

Answer my questions. Medina was a former title holder, does that mean that he's still a good fighter? Johnson has 12 losses, does that mean that because he has 10 more than Lacy, he's a worse fighter?

You don't judge a fighter by his record, you judge him by performance and quality.

Perhaps I was scraping the barrell, perhaps 15 was a bit extravagant, but Lacy is no longer the fighter he once was. Obviously I have to consider styles when talking about who beats who, but there are at least 15 who have greater potential to achieve than Lacy.

Anyway, I'm not backing down, you want a 15th fighter who could beat him? Perhaps Tsypko himself, Lacy has only steadily got worse since their 2nd fight, which he barely won. Perhaps a rejuvenated and confident Brian Magee, perhaps even Manfredo, as bad as he is he didn't do to badly last time, and like I said, Lacy has got worse.

You tell me who you disagree with out of the 17 names I've gave you.

I'd favour Lacy over Balzsay, Soliman, Zuniga, Magee, Tsypko, Manfredo, Berrio and give him an even shot with Inkin and Pascal. I haven't seen much of Dirrell.

Why couldn't they find a better picture of Juan Carlos Gomez?

It depends what Lacy turns up, but the unmotivated fighter we've seen since Calzaghe would struggle.

I think Balzsay and Soliman would have the best chance of those guys mentioned. I think Lacy would struggle against the height and boxer-puncher style of Balzsay, who can really hit, and with the experience and awkwardness of Soliman.

Perhaps the one thing Lacy has in his favour is that his chin is solid. How solid I couldn't be sure of saying. Would you give anybody at 168 a chance of stopping him?

I'm not sure how many big punches he could take from guys like Zuniga and Berrio without somebody, either the ref, doctor or his corner, stepping in. He just doesn't appear interested anymore, his power was over-rated, he can't really box, I don't see a way in which I could definately say he could win a fight, other than through a huge gap in quality between him and his opponent. I don't think there is that huge gap with any of the people I've mentioned.

I think Inkin and Pascal would box rings around him. Same with Dirrell.
