I'm interested to see whether people put Wlad or Vitali #1 at present. I think Vitali is arguably the better fighter, not that either are unbeatable but Vitali is 'more unbeatable' in my opinion, however I think it's unfair for him to be #1 ahead of Wlad at present on the basis of one fight. I would however rank him above Wlad if he beats Gomez.

    Yep.

Btw, hows the guy in your signature doing at the moment?

Haven't heard much about him, didn't he have some kind of hand problems?

not right for vitali to be ranked at #1. He has had 1 fight and that's all. Wlad has beaten 6 top 10 ring ranked opponents in his last 8 including three defensive southpaws.

Vitali's lone win was against a fatter and slower version Sam Peter. Wlad faced a far more dangerous Peter, who was undefeated, motivated, hungry and conditioned to go 12 rounds.

Vitali is a great fighter but wlad is #1 til he gets knocked off.

I'd have trouble coming up with 10 guys more worthy, sadly. He does have a few decent wins under his belt, and he's coming along well enough. He probably won't get much higher than he is right now, and head to head he'd lose to a number of guys not in the top 10, but based on record he deserves the spot.

Oh, well the ring says Germany.. Oh well doesn't matter. :nut

He beat another guy last month by TKO in the 4th. He did get tagged a few times tho, nothing to serious, but id say it was his worst fight ever.

Yea he had hand problems, and I think he still does. In a recent interview he complained a bit about pains in his hands :-(

Beating Barret doesn't put you in the top 10...Haye has done nothing at HW to be in the top 10...At cruiser he was the best..HW is a different division!
