Does that really need explaining? Kessler has faced far better competition, has fought longer, has won more decisively, and has only lost to the current no 2 p4p. Then he is a better fighter than Pavlik, has won more World titles.
Pavlik jumped into the list after destroying Lockett. Lockett was not even top ten contender ranked by Ring.

BoD Top Ten P4P List: 1. JMM 2. Pac 3. Vasquez 4. Marquez 5. Pavlik 6. Calzaghe 7. Margarito 8. Cotto 9. Calderon / Mijares --- I just don't know too much about these guys, but they are here based on the word of other posters :deal 10. W Klit This is the first time I haven't put Winky on in a long f'ing time because i just don't know if he will ever fight again. But if he comes back to 154lbs he is back in the top 5 :deal :good
I disagree about Cotto- he got beat/ quit. I think its perfect position for him on the list. I think they have him in the perfect spot. I do however agree that Hopkins needs to get off of the list.
