can't believe so many think ward should be ranked above haye, klitchsko's, or even carl froch for that matter.

ward beat kessler which is a good win, his only proper good win, but no one had kessler top 10 p4p before, in fact most people on here have done nothing but question kesslers credentials for the last few years.

ward is a very good prospect but does one good win deserve to make him top 10 p4p?

No different than having Calderon on their. For me it's a lifetime achievement award and in the case of Calderon and John both have been criminally underrated for years.

Many had Kessler top 10 or near before his fight with Calzaghe and many rate him highly. He was regarded as the #1 in a strong super-middleweight division before Ward beat him and he was closing in. Beating the #1 is a great win in any division. Why shouldn't he be ahead of Froch? Froch has three wins, none really great. Taylor is nearly done and dominated Froch for 11 rounds. Pascal and Dirrell are good wins, but ones that can be questioned if you want to. Pascal: I'm not gonna say he was drained, because i don't know, but many think so. Dirrell: Well, just watch the fight. That was near dead even.
