Who do you think is underrated? mostly i beleive is because of their styles, or they're not "star" quality, yet, they are underrated because they don't draw $, or simply not too famous.
Kirkland. Everyone picks him to get smashed by just about every 154lbs'er alive. I fully expect him to do some demolishion jobs in the coming year.
Probably Lara, Guzman and Chris John would have to be up there. Paul Williams can still do well against slower brawlers like Margarito/Cotto.
Guzman was true, but not now, wasted talent for me. Lara isn't underrated, it's why he's going to be so avoided. Ricky Burns, I think he holds his own at lightweight with most. Kevin Mitchell if he's switched on too. (Enough British promotion from me) I would say Dzinzurik, the guy who lost to Martinez at 160. I think that at 154 he gives anybody a great match. Him and Cotto would be a brilliant display of the jab.
Dzin is not a bad call. If his opponents can't neutralize his jab, he'll eat them up with it, and soon it'll be the 12th round and you're down on points. Dzinziruk has a beautiful jab.:good
Eddie Chambers is well worth a shout aswell, I think he gives anyone massive, massive problems in the division, bar the Klitschkos.
:thumbsup I'd like to see Chambers vs Arreola. Trav Cloud possibly? Not enough exposure. I agree with PostBox about JCC Jr too, him and Canelo aren't that far apart right now in terms of skills.
Anthony Dirrell has yet to fight a quality 168lber but i believe he can do some real damage in the division, he's flying under the radar right now...
