Cotto won that fight against CLOTTEY who didn't even have the nerve to push the action for the win when he had a blinded opponent (result of a butt, not punch). The guy didn't go for it. Cotto did and won the fight.

I know you won't like to read this, but Clottey won the fight. Let's say he pushed the fight and clearly won the last 2 rounds. He would have still lost on on judge s scorecard and would have tied on the other one. Again, eventhough he did not push to win the fight, Cotto did not do anything to win it. Finally when you look at the numbers punches landed, percentage landed and so on. Clottey clearly had the advantage. How did Cotto win that fight?:huh

because he won six rounds and scored a knockdown... = Cotto victory.

I really think people that truly feel clottey won, and in their heart are not bias, need to watch the fight again, i would have had it a draw i believe, but cotto knocked clottey down.

When I think about Cotto and Mosley, Cotto just seems like the more vulnerable of the two. Mosley is #1 at Welter imo. I think if Cotto and him fight again SOON*, Mosley would KO him. But we'll see. Cotto is still very good, I'm a fan, I've always liked him.

That is because fights are scored on rounds and not total punches.

That fight was very close, and round wise, I believe it was a draw with the KD making the difference or 7-5 for Cotto. In my opinion, Cotto, again seemed more vulnerable, and Clottey looked stronger. But maybe it's because of that thing Cotto does when he's moving laterally he kinda ducks and it makes him look in trouble. He did it vs Marg.

Mosley wouldnt KO Cotto. He fought him once and didnt get close to KO'ing him, infact he lost clearly. I think the Margarito victory has given Mosley mysterious powers. He KO's everyone in any hypothetical matchups.

Get OFF his dick. The only good fighter apart frm Margarito who Mosley's beaten in Collazo.

He is not as proven at WW as Cotto. Cotto faced and conquered them all (including Clottey) except Margarito. The Clottey fight was close enough to go either way an on the night Miguel got it.

I don't think Cotto beat Mosley, and a lot of people think Clottey beat him. He's had a number of close shaves and was decisively beaten by Margarito, whereas Mosley hasn't had that dishonor in years.

Add to that the fact that Mosley looks positively rejuvenated: against Cotto he was far from his best, gassed after 3 or 4 rounds and somehow managed to eek what I think was a draw out of the fight. Now he's down at 147 for sure, personal issues sorted out and back with Nazim R, he's got his powers back. Destroying the man at 147 was probably one of the greatest victories in boxing for years.

This logic does not work because when Cotto beat Mosley the WW crown was held by PBF at the time.
