cotto is no doubt imo. floyd bhop wlad jmm pac guys like ward, froch, and canelo when all said n done i think can get in there
Tim Bradley could potentially be a hall of famer in the future. But not at this very moment . Hes needs to get out of Mannys shawdow because whenever his name comes up , automatically everyone thinks . "He lost to Pacquiao twice" Bradley needs to start making noise again . Perhaps move back down to 140 or move up to 154 and win some belts .
Based on the comment in this thread, here is an updated list with changes for future HOFer who are CURRENTLY active: Roy Jones Bernard Hopkins James Toney Vlad Klitchko Floyd Mayweather Manny Pacquaio Robert Guerrero Miguel Cotto Juan Manuel Marquez Shane Mosley Carl Froch Timothy Bradley List is looking good, everyone on here I see getting into the HOF with 5 years if they retire today.
Bradley and Donaire seem to be on the right path and not far off as it is... Recently retired fighters of the last year or two who deserve to make it: -Pongsaklek Wonjongkam -Ivan Calderon -Chris John
Nice list on the recently retired. I'm a little on the fence with Chris JOhn though- he stayed sequestered in his home country for >90% of his fights. I only think he fought a few times in the States, and both were against Rocky Juarez if I'm not mistaken. His biggest win was against JMM and Juarez. I'm 50/50 on him getting in due to lack of good competition, but he was a very long standing title holder at FW. 1st Ballot guys: Jones Jr. Hopkins Wladimir FLoyd Manny JMM Cotto Martinez Guys close to getting in with just a few more fights: Ward and Bradley There's a bunch of up and comers, too many to list, that all have a good shot if they continue taking on good competition and keep winning. Guys like Danny Garcia, Mikey Garcia, Canelo/Lara, etc. It's a long list of good-very good fighters.
Guerrero? That guy never was even top 10. He is not a very good fighter. A solid fighter, but hardly championship quality. What is that about putting him in the HOF?

How is James Toney borderline? He's brilliant defensively and the best counter-puncher of all time. His resume is stacked and he's destroyed a LOT of top guys along the way. If anyone's a lock on any list it should be Toney.
Tested positive for PED's. His list of good opponents beaten isn't all that deep. He is a clear HOF'er on paper in my view, depending on where you stand with the PED thang. But because of that, and the fact that he is def not any sort of legend of the ring, I don't think someone is crazy for not thinking Toney is a HOF'er. He is well below many current "active" guys, that's for sure.
Please explain the Guerrero choice. I'm sure you're aware that he's overwhelmingly been the person people disagree with. I don't think he's close to the HOF.
