I know Gatti got into the HOF due to his all action style, so my thing is... What about nominating Paul Williams and Ronald Wright
Robert Guerrero Rafael Marquez Jorge Arce These have almost zero chance of getting in and Ponce De Leon you either joking or you dont know **** about the sport saying that De Leon might get in, looking at your past posts i tend to lean to the "You dont know **** about the sport" reason.
Nonito Donaire One of 12 fighters to win legit titles in 4 divisions (112, 118, 122, 126). Beat the best fighter at the time in 3 divisions (Darchinyan, Montiel, Nishioka). Beat a ton of then current, past, or future titlists.
So I've read to the thread regarding your recommendation of who should be added and who should be removed from the list below...I've removed several boxers and the list below reflect first ballot entries and I've noted boxers who will probably get in on the second ballot - Updated list of future HOFers- Roy Jones - tentative (PED allegation) Bernard Hopkins James Toney - tentative (PED allegation) Vlad Klitchko Floyd Mayweather Manny Pacquaio Robert Guerrero Miguel Cotto Juan Manuel Marquez Shane Mosley Carl Froch Timothy Bradley - tentative (needs a little more to his resume) Erik Morales Evander Holyfield Pongsaklek Wonjongkam Sergio Martinez (may get in but not on the first ballot) Nonito Donaire (may get in but not on the first ballot)
If Carl Froch, Tim Bradley, and Andre Ward all retired today and never fought again, Carl Froch would have the worst career accomplishments/resume among the three. So I find it odd that Froch is listed while Bradley is tentative and "needs a little more" and Ward is omitted entirely. Omar Narvaez deserves some shout out to some degree at this time. I have no problems with people who say he is clearly well short and no problems with those who say he edges in.
Beside one man on his record, Froch has beaten every man he has every faced. He has also taken the undefeated records of 6 world class fighters. The names on his record is really solid, I think that he is super beatable but until it happens..he's HOF bound. Updated list of future HOFer as of 6/20/12 Roy Jones - tentative (PED allegation) Bernard Hopkins James Toney - tentative (PED allegation) Vlad Klitchko Floyd Mayweather Manny Pacquaio Robert Guerrero Miguel Cotto Juan Manuel Marquez Shane Mosley Carl Froch Timothy Bradley - tentative (needs a little more to his resume) Erik Morales Evander Holyfield Pongsaklek Wonjongkam Sergio Martinez (may get in but not on the first ballot) Nonito Donaire (may get in but not on the first ballot)
Robert Guerrero FFS get a fecking clue you ****** and dont send me pm's threatening me princess cause your candy ass isnt scaring anyone, if you have something to say ***** say it here so everyone can read, ***** ass hoe :rofl
How on earth can Shane Mosely be inducted ?? He is a proven Ped's abuser So was Vitali Kilitschko as an amateur. But there again the HOF has lost all its credibilitywhen they inducted Stallone
Believe it or not, if all fighters retired today and never fought again, Robert Guerrero does have one of the better records among actives, specifically those his age (only 31). He has a depth of good victories. I mean, these are all guys everyone knows well all the way down the line and all of his victories were solid one sided displays with only a few exceptions... 14- ????? Yoshihiro Kamegai - @ 147 13- L UD12 Floyd Mayweather Jr. - @ 147 12- W UD12 Andre Berto - @ 147 12- W UD12 Selcuk Aydin - @ 147 11- W UD12 Michael Katsidis - @ 135 10- W UD10 Vicente Escobedo - @ 135 10- W UD10 Joel Casamayor - @ 138 catchweight if memory serves 09- W UD12 Malcolm Klassen - for Klassen's IBF 130 08- W KO8 Jason Litzau - IBF 126 defense 07- W TKO1 Martin Honorio - IBF 126 defense 07- W TKO9 Spend Abazi - for vacant 126 IBF title 06- ND12 Orlando Salido - original defeat for Guerrero, IBF vacated when Salido fails drug test 06- W RTD8 Eric Aiken - for Aiken's 126 IBF title 06- W KO6 Gamaliel Diaz II - @ 126 05- L SD12 Gamaliel Diaz I - @ 126 ...I don't know. It just doesn't seem like he deserves quite all the hate he gets and ends up getting underrated. That is a respectable resume. Not HOF worthy by any means, though.
Erik Morales announced on June 5th that he is retiring. No more fighting for hopes or plans of a "farewell fight." It is official. Evander Holyfield hasn't fought since May of 2011. He is 52 years old. Safe to take him off the list now.
