    That thread is absolute gold.
    Incidentally, yesterday I was helping a guy up here put together his newly acquired ring in his gym.
    He boxed amateur out of Sacramento as a young man, in the early 70s, late 60s. He was telling me yesterday about Lloyd Marshall coming to the gym. I haven't had a chance to pick his brain about it yet, but we are finishing up his ring this weekend.

    Fascinating story! I had not seen this before and once I started reading it could not stop! A truly inspiring read!

    for my money, the Fighter I'd most like to speak too, watch or read about... One of the Greatest Fighters of alltime Lloyd Marshall.
